As an English instructor, it is my goal to enable students to be confident communicators of English. Therefore, International Scientific Presentations ISP was established to provide students to prepare students for international presentations. During this seminar, students create mini-documentaries showcasing their research. The video platform enables students to discuss and present their research up close on camera. Creating short documentary videos in English is an effective way for students to prepare for international scientific presentations in that it helps improve presentation skills, build confidence, and sparks motivation. This medium provides real-life situations that encourage students to use English to relate to their prospective field of study.
